The construction of numerous villas began at the end of the 19th century. In those years, many members of the Lombardy-Piedmontese bourgeoisie and aristocracy chose to build villas in Alpino and the surrounding area to spend the summer months, but also to visit the ski resorts of Mottarone in winter. The main house, whose original construction dates back to 1895, has fascinating architectural details both inside and out and is divided into two flats: one on the mezzanine floor and one on the first and second floors. In the basement there are several rooms used as cellars and storage rooms.
